St. George’s Camp has generations of beloved history and is full of energy, variety, and space for every camper to find what they love. Living in cabins on the side of Yellow Spring Mountain, campers spend their days choosing from a wide mix of activities like sports, art, drama, nature, newspaper, and canoeing. Whether a camper loves hiking, harnessing their creativity in making crafts, discovering new sports with friends, or swimming in the pool, there’s room to explore it all. And when the sun goes down, the energy doesn’t stop - we gather for campfires, dance nights, and our legendary skit nights, along with plenty of other surprises. All St. George’s Camp sessions take overnight camping trips that are guided by counselors experienced in outdoors and camping. During St. George’s Session 4, campers have the opportunity to participate in optional multi-night camping trips - either canoeing or backpacking. Our camping experiences build confidence, independence, and deep friendships.

At the heart of St. George’s is a belief drawn from the “body passage” (1 Corinthians 12:12-27): just as a body has many different parts - each with its own purpose - we also believe that every camper and counselor brings something unique and valuable to our community. At camp, we put that belief into practice by building what we call a “body” - a community where campers and counselors treat one another as essential members of the whole. We celebrate each other’s strengths, show up for one another when things get hard, and rejoice together in moments of joy.

For more than 60 years, St. George’s Camp has shaped the lives of thousands of young people, offering a place where all are supported, challenged, and encouraged to be fully themselves while being part of something bigger.
